Terms & refunds

Plain terms for a tool about fine print. If anything here reads like a trap, tell us and we will fix it.

What Redline does

Redline reads a document you give it and lists what it finds: every trap quoted from your own text, ranked by how much it can hurt, explained in plain language. A second pass argues against each finding before you see it. It is AI-generated guidance, not legal advice, and it can still miss things.

Free and paid

Every visitor gets one free scan, with no account and no card. A Pass adds ten quick scans, one deep review and three watched pages, for 30 days. Pro renews every month with unlimited quick scans, ten deep reviews and twenty watched pages. The price is shown in your own currency before you pay.

Who takes the payment

Payment is handled by lava.top, the merchant of record: it charges you, issues the receipt and holds your card details. We never see your card, and lava.top is the name that appears on your statement.

The pass is a link

There is no account. After payment we email you a link, and that link is the key. Opening it once in a browser stores the pass there; open it again on every device you use. Keep the email. If you lose the link, write to us from the address you paid with and we will send it again.

Refunds

If a pass is not what you expected, write within 14 days and we refund it in full, as long as no more than one scan has been used. If the tool failed to deliver what you paid for, we refund in full whatever you have used. A Pro subscription can be cancelled at any time and stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds go back the way you paid, within 10 business days.

Your document

Pasted text and uploaded files are analysed in memory and never stored. Only the result is kept, so your link keeps working. A public page fetched by link is snapshotted, so we can tell you when its terms change. Our analytics never receives anything from your document. Ask us and we delete a result.

Fair use

Quotas belong to a pass and exist so the tool stays available to everyone. Automated bulk scanning, reselling scans, or working around the limits may be blocked, and what has already been used is not refunded.

What we are not liable for

Redline helps you read; it does not decide for you. We are not liable for decisions taken on the strength of a report, and nothing here creates a lawyer-client relationship. Read the whole document before you sign it.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page; the date above says when it last changed. A change never applies backwards to a pass that was already bought.

Redline is AI-generated guidance, not legal advice. Every flag quotes the document verbatim and is checked by a second reviewer, but it can still miss things. Read the whole document before you sign.
